Adult Programming (High School Credits)
Our Adult Learning Centre at 303 Main Street offers learners, 19 years of age or older, the opportunity to complete their Grade 12 Mature Student Diploma, improve their employability skills, or upgrade credits for entrance into post-secondary educational institutions.
We offer a variety of grade 10-12 courses, through classroom-based instruction in a two-semester program. Our courses are offered once or twice a week for 2 ½ hours depending on the course. A limited selection of courses are available for independent study.
Students are generally required to complete the Canadian Adult Achievement Test prior as part of the registration process. Registration is done in person so that an individualized plan is put in place to help facilitate successful completion of the program. Online registration can be done to start the process. Official registration takes place in early September and the last weeks of January. Learners can register throughout the school year for independent study courses.
